"Acting out, Acting in, Enactment: Problem, Opportunity or both?"
Workshop: Saturday 14th June 2014
10:30 - 16:00
cost: £ 40.00
Lunch not included
At: Central Croydon, venue TBA
Convenor: Marie-Louise Rabe
We frequently encounter "acting out" in our clinical work. This can occur inside or outside
of the psychotherapy and it may attack alliance and setting in such a way that the therapy fails.
Although it may present a complication, it may communicate something of the person's struggle
that can be used for understanding by therapist and client.
This is a workshop for psychoanalytic/psychodynamic practitioners with a minimum
of 2 years clinical experience. There will only be a small number of attendants and participants
will be expected to share and discuss their clinical dilemmas.
